How to arrange kitchen effectively
Many people spend most of their time stay in the kitchen during the day. Majority of kitchens has small or restricted size, and the shape of kitchen, which generally is a tiny square box probably make you feel uncomfortable and unhappy when cooking.
However, there are a lot of tips and techniques that help you to arrange and decorate your kitchen to make it larger and finally become the place that you love to stay the most.
Having small kitchen doesn?t mean that you have lower quality kitchen than who has larger kitchen. Good kitchen must have enough lighting, air ventilation as well as proper shelf arrangement.
Simplicity
This is the key element of kitchen arrangement. Simple format of arrangement and compatibility of each furniture will increase space of your kitchen.
You should arrange furniture consistent align in same direction by keep putting furniture close to the wall is the best.
Using kitchen furniture that have the surface made from metal or glass sheet will help to reflect shade of the wall, ceiling and floor to make the room looks wider
Location
Most of kitchens are designed to locate to the east or on the direction that will receive the sunlight, because in the kitchen has many of furniture and stain that will generate bacteria and diseases and to reduce humidity and bad smell due to the accumulative smoke and stain from cooking.
Furniture
Large furniture sometimes, take up too much space of the room which sometime is not necessary and this will make the room look smaller. Therefore, furniture that should be used in tiny kitchen should be small shape, has lower and clear armrest. It would be better to choose furniture that has the shape to show curvature figure and obvious concave or having table that has is the clear glass tabletop, because the weight is light.
Cabinet in kitchen should high enough to reach the ceiling and should not have dark tone colour otherwise if the height of cabinet doesn't reach ceiling, there will be small hole and space and cause the smell.
Multipurpose room
Many people use kitchen for another function such as laundry room or sometimes even use kitchen for feed pets such as dogs and cats. If you are one among them who use the room as multifunction room you should arrange the furniture to line up with the wall alignment and close to the wall and leave space in the middle. Arrange washing machine, table washes , and other cleaning equipment. If possible, the equipment use for iron clothes, you should keep those equipment in the desk drawer.
Arrange lower part of the room for your pets and if you have pets you may use ceramic to cover the floor because it will be easier to clean.
The other side of the kitchen should have long table or chair in order to put additional accessories such as napkin. Also remember that to have a good kitchen is all about cleanliness it?s not entirely about the size or style of decoration and furniture. So you should keep everything in the kitchen clean not to be the cause of smell, bacteria and disease.
